Very little information has been available about the corps return to competition. This page is dedicated to the staff and members whose determination and dedication to revive the corps was rewarded, at least for this season. If you have stories, pictures and other scores, I would be happy to post them here!

Following is one members recollections of the corps season. We'd like more though!

We had a kick ass brass line and a lot of players in the percussion section....

At the Hamburg show, Chet sent the animal squad....aka....the pit....aka....Homewood brothers into the judges critique and the judges decided the critique was over...No Discussion.....

At the Jamestown show, Havover and Guelph brought their horn line over to hear our show and said that that was 18 horns playing like 40.....Really felt good talking to Al Straussburg from the Royalaires after the show...This was also the show where Paul Neise marched Amer. Sect. and put a six pack of beer under the cone in the corner before the show and drank the whole thing while the corps was performing that evening.

Johnnsonburg show was when the buses broke down and Jerry Pinette refused to help the corps go and get the rest of the people.....Thats was the 1st and only time in 1977 that the Rockets BEAT Johnnsonburg at their home show...Great feeling..
